There’s a new name on the QC Accountants partnership, and it belongs to someone a lot of our clients already know and trust.
Jacki Penbrook has been promoted to Partner.
For anyone who has worked with Jacki over the years, this will feel less like a surprise and more like a long-overdue “of course”. For everyone else, allow us to introduce one of the best people in our firm.
Jacki has been part of QCA for nearly a decade. In that time she has proven herself irreplaceable to our clients, thanks to her dedication to working alongside them to produce the best possible outcome.
We have an internal joke in our office that “everybody loves Jacki” — and it’s based on the feedback we’ve had from clients over the years. In all seriousness, it’s well earned: a true reflection of the respect and trust Jacki has built by going beyond expectations.
We think “going beyond” is a genuinely rare quality, and it’s exactly who we want helping lead our business into the future.
What “going beyond” really means
It means caring about the person behind the numbers. It means helping a sole trader with their first BAS with the same energy as a growing company planning its next move. It means picking up the phone, explaining things in plain English, and genuinely investing in making someone’s life a little easier.
We’re proud to say Jacki does this for every client, no matter who they are or what they walk in with. That’s the QC difference in one person.

We’re also proud of what Jacki’s promotion says about our firm. She joins the partnership at a time when women are a driving force in QCA’s leadership. Alongside Jacki, Shanna Ford leads our practice as Practice Operations Manager, keeping things running for clients and team alike.
Strong, capable women in senior roles isn’t a box we tick. It’s simply who we are, and we’re better for it.
A firm that’s growing

Jacki’s promotion comes as QCA keeps growing its advisory and business services across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland. We’re a Xero Platinum Partner and members of CA ANZ, with more than 80 years of combined experience across the team, and we’re only getting started.
